]]> We get this question quite a bit, which is understandable as Maui has many great things to do, but when you have a limited time you want to be sure you have experienced “The Best”.

I think it is a matter of personality and preference, as some of you might be more active then others, or prefer a variety of experiences. My suggestion is to break up your activities into groups, then decide on which activity you would like, of if you are part of a group you can take a vote!

  • Hawaiian Activity: Lu’au, Canoe Club Paddle
  • Ocean Activity: Maui Scuba Diving, Surf Lessons, Snorkeling, Whale Watching
  • Land Adventures: Hiking, Golf, Zip Line, Haleakala Sunrise or Sunset, Bike Down Haleakala
  • Tours: Road to Hana, Helicopter Tour, Lanai or Molokai Tour, Scuba Diving Tour

]]> Ah, Lahaina, one of my most FAVORITE dive spots on Maui. Why? Here’s a quick list, the Top five reasons why I love to dive and provide SCUBA diving lessons in Lahaina, Maui.

  • Wind! The west side of Maui is protected from the trade winds thanks to Kahalewai (West Maui Mountains), which allows us to dive up till early afternoon on windy days
  • Location! With plenty resources nearby, it is very easy to coordinate dives here, especially for groups, as I can pick you guys up at different hotels, or we can easily find a spot to meet up.
  • Accessibility! If you have been reading through my site you will know by now that I am a big fan of SHORE DIVING! Just park, gear up, walk to the water. Lahaina has some great locations where it very convenient to dive.
  • Wild life! The entire west Maui coastline, from Lahaina, Ka’anapali, Honokahau, Napili, Kahana and Kapalua is teeming with all types of tropical fish, dolphins, green sea turtles, Hawaiian monk seals, hump back whales, the list goes on.
  • Safety! Lahaina is supported by many ocean pro’s, coast guard, life guards and medics, this is always a good thing to count on when entering the ocean playground, safety is always the first and primary concern for our dives.
